As I mentioned in last note, US and UK tighted up security check procedures due to new plot.  They implement the body search and full search on carry-on to filter out bad seeds.  Body search is very common practice in Asia and Asia travelers are willing to accept it.  But in Western world, people feel uncomfortable of body search and disgust at such practice.  I remember about 2 years ago there was serious dispute about a new advanced X-ray machine.  Well, under such new development, people can't help but to accept it.

Funny thing is I had different treatment in each country.  I had to get up at 5AM to arrive at airport 3 hours before departure.  This is first time in business travel that I have to carry 2 big check-in luggage, not including personal carry-on because I have to bring special tools, packing materials and cleaning solutions.  I have to clean up parts over there and repack them into smaller package otherwise it will cost me more than $10,000 shipping fees to ship them out UK due to their bulky size.  I was so worry about the security check will find the cleaning solution.  They are somehow chemical related.  I stand by and wait until 2 check-in did go through.

Afterward I went  straight to boarding area.  It is a long wait.  Suddenly, some with military uniform show up carrying tables to each boarding gates.  Airport doesn't have enough manpower to support the extra check and call in the National Guard to help.   US is really a human-right country.  Therefore only selectively tag people to do body search.  After the carry-on search, I felt someone pat my shoulder and found out I got pick out to do body search.  Somewhat I was confused.  I confused, not because I dislike body search but because I carry a business briefcase and don't fit certain types of racial profiles ???).  Unfortunately I felt a little bit bias.

On the way back, UK airport makes everyone had body search, no exception, period.  There are two long lines, one for male, the other for female.  It takes longer to go through but everybody feels fair and square.  There was nothing can escape through crack.  I call it two countries, two thinkings and two treatments.
